Prospecting Message

Prospecting Message

The messaging was signed off in January. By May every rep is sending a private dialect of it, and the lines that win replies sit in one person's drafts folder. This skill drafts prospecting messages the way the company would write them: built from your Messaging, Persona, Signals, Tone of Voice and Case Studies & Proof memories, matched to the prospect's circumstances and the signal that made now the moment. Reps edit detail, direction already set, marketing sees its positioning hold in the field, and its authority ends at the draft: a rep sends, or does not. New claims wait for an owner's approval, and upgrades to the skill and its memories ship as versions, argued from what messages went on to earn.

The same voice at any volume

One personal email this morning, a seven-touch sequence by Friday: two jobs that pull the same positioning in different directions.

A named prospect needs a first email this morning

The template gets personalised by hand

The rep begins with the shared template and rewrites it from whatever they can find. What goes out varies with the rep and the morning rush.

Another dialect, generated faster

Each rep's draft carries a private version of the positioning, because your approved messaging, tone and proof were never among the inputs.

A draft already in the company's voice

The rep finds a draft built from your Messaging and Tone of Voice memories, the persona and today's signal, and edits detail.

A campaign needs a seven-touch sequence by Friday

Assembled from the last campaign

Marketing copies the sequence that last worked, swaps in the new segment and hopes the claims are still the ones the company wants to make.

Drift, multiplied by volume

Generation makes more variants than anyone can check, so off-message claims scale with the list and nobody can trace what earned replies.

Seven touches, one argument

Marketing sees every touch pull from the same Messaging and Case Studies & Proof memories, so touch seven makes the same case as touch one.

What is an AI messaging skill?

A versioned method for drafting prospect communication: it reads the prospect's current state, applies your approved messaging, persona, signal, tone and proof logic, and returns a draft with its reasoning shown and its gaps named. Change the logic once and every future draft follows.

How do you govern AI sales copy?

Through owned logic and a human send. Marketing leadership owns Messaging and Tone of Voice, RevOps owns Persona and Signals, product marketing owns Case Studies & Proof. Drafts use approved claims only, new claims need the owner's sign-off, and no message goes to a prospect except by a rep's hand.

How are Skills different from templates?

A template freezes wording; a skill produces it. This one reads the prospect, applies the current versions of your messaging and tone logic and keeps its reasoning visible, so when positioning changes, every next draft changes with it. A template sits still until someone notices it is out of date.

Where do Messaging Analysis and Prospecting Next Action fit?

They sit either side of it. Prospecting Next Action decides that a message is today's right move; this skill composes it; Messaging Analysis later measures how messages like it performed and feeds proven arguments back into the Messaging memory. Composing is the whole of this skill's job.

Do reps run this skill directly?

Usually they meet its output: a draft prepared where they already work, reasoning attached. The skill runs inside Prospecting Engagement and campaign execution, so reps rarely invoke it by name, and when a line raises an eyebrow, the version and inputs that produced it are on record.
